This covers any project beyond routine trimming and irrigation. If it changes the layout, planting, paving, drainage, or lighting, it starts here. Most projects fall between roughly $5,000 and $35,000, scaled to the scope rather than a fixed menu.
An outside contractor starts without context. They have to guess where the drip lines run, which areas collect water, and how the sun crosses the patio. Our designers already know, because the property is documented from every service visit. That history shortens the process and keeps new work consistent with what surrounds it.
It also keeps accountability in one place. The crew that installs a new bed is the same crew that prunes it the next spring, so nothing is built that becomes difficult to maintain. A finished project folds back into your maintenance plan.
You meet a designer at the property, discuss goals, and walk the ground together. You then review materials and a written proposal with itemized pricing, so the figure is clear from the outset. A project manager owns the build schedule, and any adjustment along the way is recorded as a written change order before work continues. The project closes with a walkthrough where you confirm each element.
